When I think of Vitamin C, I instantly think of oranges. An orange is the go to fruit for those nutrients that our body needs. After all nobody wants to get Scurvy! But what about some variety in our diet? Well I was surprised to find out that one of our favorite fruits here at The Fruit Company is a great source of Vitamin C. The Oregon peaches, which we have for the month of August, are a great source. They can carry up to 10.3 mg of the powerful antioxidant. Vitamin C is also a great anti inflammatory that has been shown to help asthmatic children to lessen the wheezing produced by asthma.
All this in something that tastes so good! WOW!
