Have you ever tried a green smoothie bowl? Almost every morning I start my day with a smoothie combined with fruit, vegetables, and protein.
As a parent, making a green smoothie is the easiest way to get my kids to consume all of their fruits and vegetables in one meal. But sometimes drinking a smoothie doesn’t quite satisfy my hunger. So instead of thinning your smoothie out with milk, yogurt or water, keep it thick and creamy. Your kids will think they are eating ice cream for breakfast, but instead they just ate two cups of green spinach, a banana and half of a nutritiously sweet pear. How often does that happen before 9:00 am?
