Fruit Infused Water: Mango-Lime-Basil Refresher

Have you ever tried fruit infused water? We all know how important it is to stay hydrated. What is it the doctors say, eight tall glasses every day? Some days that is completely doable, while on other days, it feels like an unreachable goal.

The best, easiest and tastiest way to drink the recommended amount of water is to flavor the water with fruit, vegetables and herbs. Fill up a pitcher of filtered water and load it up with some fun and colorful food.

Here is a list of my favorite foods to use:
Limes
Lemons
Oranges
Berries
Watermelon
Cucumber
Mint
Basil
Mango
Pineapple

For this Mango-Lime-Basil Fruit Infused Water, fill a large pitcher with 1 whole mango, 1/2 cup blackberries, 1 lime sliced, and a handful of basil.  Pour the fruit flavored water into a thermos or Mason jar for the perfect take-along for road-trips, picnics, tailgating, or for sipping at your desk.
