We’ve dedicated the past 75 years of fruit growing experience to cultivate the most delicious, gourmet fruit on the market. From beautiful fruit baskets and towers all the way to our monthly HarvestClubs – a gift from The Fruit Company is revered by loved ones nationwide.
In 2016, we became one of the first gifting companies to offer our very own fruit trees for purchase. These trees can be gifted to colleagues, family, friends and more, anywhere in the United States*. Choose between a selection of trees, like our Bing or Rainier cherries (budded from our very own Webster Orchards), and coming soon will be our Gem pears and Honeycrisp apples.
Benefits of Sending a Fruit Gift Tree:
- Typically, when you buy a fruit tree online or at a nursery they are around 3 feet tall and will still take approximately 2-3 years to bear fruit. Our fruit trees range in height from 12-18 inches tall, so they are easier to ship and plant, and will still bear fruit in the same amount of time!
- Dwarf trees are perfect for a backyard, they are smaller than normal sized trees yet still provide an abundant amount of full sized fruits! The dwarf rootstock means your tree will be approximately 8-10 feet tall as opposed to 25-35 feet.
- You can send our Fruit Gift Trees for any occasion, at any time! Our trees are mailed dormant, and can stay asleep as long as they’re kept in a refrigerator. You can send a tree for Christmas, and your recipient can wait until Spring to plant!
- You can purchase our Fruit Gift Trees individually or as an add-on to many of our beautiful gifts.
Once temperatures are ready for planting, usually in early Spring, we recommend planting our gift tree(s) outside. Within just a few years, your fruit tree could be bursting with juicy, delicious fruit right in your own backyard. It’s a gift that keeps on giving!
